SILVER

Our interest is in British domestic silver, i.e. silver that was meant to be used in the home such as candlesticks, tea and coffee sets, vases, platters, trays, etc. In addition, we carry a wide range of sterling flatware--individual place pieces, fine serving pieces of all kinds and entire sets of silver.

Tiffany sterling flatware was greatly influenced by the British patterns. In the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries Tiffany & Co. in New York produced some of the finest pieces of American silver between the Civil War and the Second World War. Our stock includes mainly flatware in all the Tiffany patterns,; place pieces, serving pieces, sets and some holloware.

CRYSTAL

Our crystal inventory is mainly Irish cut crystal consisting of pieces intended for use and some decorative pieces. Most of the pieces date from the mid-eighteenth century and the early nineteenth century. As with all pieces sold we sell items that do not have chips nor have been restored.

FURNITURE

Our inventory includes some very fine pieces of eighteenth century British furniture, mainly smaller pieces. We are especially interested in carved pieces from Ireland dating from the reign of William and Mary (1688) through the early nineteenth century.

We are pleased to undertake restoration projects on behalf of our clients and employ well-trained and experienced art conservators, frames, glass and ceramic restorers and silversmiths.
